I want to paint over a room with deep red color and another one with dark green. (I don't understand why anybody would have red wall.) I was told that I need 2-3 coats of paint to cover the red. That takes a lot of time to do 3 coats. Anyone tried 1 coat and covered the deep red and dark green?

It will be better if you will paint on sunny days. At least, the paint is going to dry well.

No i don't agree with your words as there are lots of paints available in market which works fine during the winter session and nothing wrong happens.
