Posted: Fri Aug 07, 2015 12:01 amThey're not electric but they're still solar powered. They run on that's been stored in ancient plants and converted to crude oil. Then made the "loop" back home along the lakeshore past the Apostle Islands. 166 miles to get to civilization where they got coffee. We checked the fuel mileage on our new bikes when we filled up with liquid solar energy, and they averaged roughly 77 mpg. And they're loads of fun!
