Solar Panels Facing South or West?Should I install solar panels facing south or west? Which is better?
Re: Solar Panels Facing South or West?In general, south facing panels will get more sun since it will capture sunlight from morning thru afternoon. However, if there is too much shading on the south facing roof, you may have to compromise and pick a different direction. A solar PV contractor can help you determine the best available spot for the house.
Re: Solar Panels Facing South or West?As said above, due south is obviously the best method (and will get you the greatest ROI)
If your roof angle is quite shallow, fitting panels to both sides may provide you with a reasonable amount of direct sunlight throughout the day. Also, you might want to consider one of the various other methods of PV generation - perhaps a free standing ground mounted ?
Re: Solar Panels Facing South or West?Solar is very helpful in saving electric energy because it gives much help in the proper functioning of the air condition to achieve proper ventilation.
Re: Solar Panels Facing South or West?Having the best solar panels that will encounter that inhibit a good attraction that earned the solar facing views.
