How Do I Size An Air Conditioner

We are looking at some air conditioning options for our place. We have an air conditioner in the loungeroom, and 2 ceiling fans in the lounge, and ceiling fans in the 3 bedrooms.

We have a Brivis ducted air conditioning system. What would be the costs to have this installed. We already have the ducts... Would we have to replace the ducted heating unit or can it just be an add on.
