Programmable thermostat via computer?I want to replace my thermostat with one that allows me to change the temperature remotely or program it from the computer. Any experiences?
Re: Programmable thermostat via computer?Residential thermostats controllable from the internet are just starting to come to the market. Two came to mind: SmartHome and Radio Thermostat. The thermostats cost $200-$350. You can control it from an iPhone (the SmartHome iPhone app is $20). I have not used any of these to comment. I am sure more will be available very soon.
