When Is Time For A New Furnace?

I recently heard of floor heating system. Anyone have experience on that? I wonder it would be warm enough without an additional heating system.

I think you probably meant radiant heat. It's great for concrete and tile flooring. A friend of mine has hardwood floor over radiant heat. He doesn't think it is heating up as quickly as he likes. He doesn't think it's warm enough for his liking either. Of course, carpet won't work. So, it depends on the type of flooring you have.

If I only need hot water once every two days, should the AquaHot be left on all of the time on only when hot water is needed? The question pertains to what is best for the life of the unit but also which uses the least amount of diesel. Is there a trade off?
