Re: Bathroom Remodeling OrlandoThe 1kw rating for a PV panel measures the peak output, usually around noon time on a sunny day. There is a way to estimate the equivalent number of hours of peak sun power received during a day and this unit of measure is typically called "suns". The number of "suns" depends on the region, more in southern areas than northern areas. I live in the San Francisco area. The annual average number of "suns" we get is 5.5 per day (obviously more in summer than in winter). So a 1kw PV panel here should get me around 1 x 5.5 x 365 = 2007.5 kwh per year. Your local PV suppliers or state department of energy should have better estimates on the kwh you can expect from PV panels in your region.

Re: Bathroom Remodeling OrlandoKnowing what you can really afford to spend will make it a lot easier to decide what items you want to replace and where you need to get creative!!
Re: Bathroom Remodeling OrlandoIt may be hard to come up with ideas for it.
