A friend of mine told me about Energy Upgrade California. The rebate sounds good, but I still need the up front cash to do the work. Any financing program available?

PowerSaver loans is a financing product for Energy Upgrade California. Homeowners can borrow up to $25,000 for energy improvements including insulation, air sealing, HVAC systems, and solar PV. This loan requires good credit standing. The following approved lenders may be operating in California:

Neighbors Financial Corp.
Paramount Equity Mortgage Inc
Quicken Loans Inc
Sunwest Mortgage Corp.
WJ Bradley Mortgage Capital Corp.

There is a low interest Loan program that also provides a grant up to $1,250 and 3% fixed interest for 15 years. Check out http://www.CHFLoan.org
